On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 2nd Conference of Metabolomics for Health 2026 (CMH2026)! Following the resounding success of the inaugural conference held in Singapore in 2024, we are proud to host the 2nd Conference of Metabolomics for Health in Shanghai from April 27 to 30, 2026.
This premier academic gathering will assemble many worldwide leading scholars and researchers in metabolomics for health, foster a dynamic platform for exchanging cutting-edge advancements and insights in the field. CMH2026 will feature distinguished plenary and keynote lectures delivered by world-renowned experts on four core scientific themes that encapsulate the most pressing and innovative directions in contemporary metabolomics research:
Beyond these thematic keynote sessions, the event will include interactive panel discussions dedicated to addressing critical bottlenecks in these focus areas—such as technical challenges in advanced metabolomic detection, translational gaps between metabolomic findings into pathophysiology research and clinical applications, mechanisms underlying host-microbiota metabolic interactions, the impact of environmental exposure on metabolic profiles and exploring actionable solutions. It will also showcase groundbreaking studies through poster presentations, providing a stage for researchers to share their latest findings across all core themes.
In a commitment to nurturing an inclusive and diverse scientific community, we are delighted to feature a dedicated session on Women in Science, spotlighting the contributions of female researchers in metabolomics related fields and fostering mentorship opportunities for emerging female talents. This session will also intersect with key thematic discussions, offering unique perspectives on metabolomics technologies for pathophysiology research, host-microbiota interaction analysis, and exposome-related metabolic studies.
Additionally, we have invited leading industry partners to exhibit their state-of-the-art technologies and solutions—from advanced detection instruments to bioinformatic tools for host-microbiota metabolic data interpretation—bridging the gap between academic research and industrial applications and facilitating access to innovative tools for all attendees.
Whether you are a seasoned researcher, a clinical practitioner, a young scientist passionate about omics, or a professional engaged in translational medicine, the high-caliber presentations, interdisciplinary dialogues, and focused thematic explorations at this symposium are poised to inspire and enlighten. Complementing the academic program, Shanghai—a vibrant metropolis blending rich cultural heritage with cutting-edge modernity—offers a wealth of attractions and amenities, promising a rewarding and memorable experience for all attendees.
We anticipate that this symposium will serve as a catalyst for knowledge sharing, spark novel collaborative initiatives, and propel technological breakthroughs in metabolomics—particularly in the critical areas of advanced metabolomics technologies, pathophysiology-related metabolic research, host-microbiota symbiotic interactions, and the interplay between exposome and metabolic health—ultimately contributing to the advancement of human health.
We look forward to welcoming you to this landmark event, where science, collaboration, and innovation converge to unlock new frontiers in metabolomics research and its applications in health and disease.
